In July 142 percent more visits to CROMAC Mine Information System Portal
In period from February until mid-August, 2009, there were 7 150 visits to CROMAC Mine Information System Portal. In the above mentioned period, visitors made 6 million hits on CROMAC MIS portal content and in July there were 142 percent more visits on the portal. Almost three times more visitors, compared to the month of June, could be expected since it is due to the start of the tourist season and the increasing number of tourists interested in the mine situation in Croatia.
The majority of foreign visits come from Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and France, neighbouring Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Hungary and Switzerland. Information from MIS portal is available to all Internet users and mine suspected areas can be searched by counties, municipalities, towns or settlements.
