Croatian mine action experience wanted in the world
International cooperation in the area of sharing Croatian mine action experiences is currently being developed with eight countries. Three countries (Azerbaijan, Yemen, Ukraine) signed an agreement for cooperation and with three countries (Egypt, Georgia, Libya) the agreement was made and is expected to be signed. Cooperation with Sri Lanka and Turkey will be carried through Cluster for Humanitarian Demining, since they are interested in the Croatian manufacturers of equipment for humanitarian demining.
This week, in Tripoli a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the National Program of demining and land rehabilitation of Libya and Croatian Cluster for humanitarian demining. From 17-22 November, 2009, two representatives of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) will be staying in Croatia and visit CROMAC. While visits with the aim of defining further cooperation have already been organized to some countries (Ukraine, Egypt, Yemen), other, like Georgia, are expected in near future.
