200th Theatre Play "No, No...Mines!" Held
There was the 200th theatre play ''No, no...mines!'' of Daska Theatre from Sisak held in the premises of ''Braća Bobetko'' elementary school in Sisak on Tuesday, 8 December 2009. The play was held for the second grade students who learned how to behave in case of finding themselves surrounded by mines. The play had a positive educative effect on students as always.
This play has been performed for ten years by now and it has warned many generations about mine danger, especially in mine contaminated areas. Due to the fact of another grant contract being signed yesterday ensuring another 50 plays or so, we are convinced that a lot of other children will be warned about mine danger and learn how to act in a situation when being in a situation of a direct threat from mines.
Yesterday's play was attended by guests from ITF from Ljubljana and representatives of the Croatian Mine Action Centre.
