Commencement of mine clearance by A3 road, Novska-Okučani section


On November 15 a mine clearance has started according to three mine clear/mine search projects by A3 road: Bregana-Zagreb-Lipovac, Novska-Okučani section.
Mine clearance will last no later than December 20, executed on the total project surface of 176.382 m2.
During execution of works, on Novska-Okučani section will be a traffic regulation, thus road will be closed on working days from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Traffic flow will be permitted for 15 minutes each hour. More details on traffic regulation can be viewed on the web site:

Mine clearance will be executed according to the following projects; mine search project entitled “PUO Novska-Jug”, total surface area of 79.239 m2, provided by “MKA Deming” company from Čakovec and “Detektor” from Vukovar with 38 deminers and demining machine “Mine Wolf”; mine search project entitled “PUO Novska-Jug područje Ciglane” total surface area of 38.111 m2, provided by “MKA Deming” company from Čakovec and “Detektor” from Vukovar with 38 deminers and finally mine clearance project entitled “Novska-područje uz AC kod PUO Novska” (Novska-area by the high way”), total project area of 59.032 m2, provided by “Istraživač” company from Nuštar and “Avangard” from Split with 20 deminers and “Zeus” and “MV4” demining machines.
Mine clearance on this area is financed from the Croatian high-ways company, State budget and JANAF.
Besides these three projects, there are 41 mine clearance projects currently provided by different demining companies in the total surface of 4 000 000 m2 in eight Croatian counties (Sisačko-Moslavačka, Karlovačka, Ličko-Senjska, Vukovarsko-Srijemska, Osječko-Baranjska, Požeško-slavonska, Brodsko-Posavska and Zadarska)
