Demining in value of 13,8M Kuna commenced

On Aug 06, a introduction to demining site has been initiated in Zadar County, more specifically the area of Smokovi and Gornji Zemunik according to the CROMAC's project in size of 2.058.305m2



The stated job is valued at 1.856.706 EUR and is financed trough EU's IPA 2010 programme, component I - Assistance in transition and institution building. From this programme CROMAC received a grant of 1.438.100 EUR.

The execution of the project will entail the operative capacities of 15 companies registered for demining.



In accordance with the approved Execution plan the maximal capacities in some periods will consist of 346 deminers and 18 demining machines. The works are due to be completed within 60 working days.


It is important to emphasize that with the realization of the IPA2010 projects CROMAC has been awarded financing of the demining works in Osijek Baranja, Vukovar Srijem and Zadar Counties in total value of 8.895.015 EUR out of which 6.938.761 EUR is EU grant money.
