First Co-ordination Meeting Held

On March 23, 2015, there was the first co-ordination meeting held in the premises of the Croatian Mine Action Centre (CROMAC) with subjects participating in mine risk education (MRE) programmes.
In line with the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Interior and other institutions in function of protection and rescue in the period 2015-2017, there was the first co-ordination meeting held in the premises of the Croatian Mine Action Centre (CROMAC) on March 23, 2015.
It was attended by all subjects participating in mine risk education programmes: representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Police Directorate, National Protection and Rescue Directorate, Croatian Red Cross, Croatian Hunting Association, Croatian Fire Fighting Community, Croatia without mines Trust Fund, Association Croatia Supports, Union of Association of Civil Victims of Homeland War of Croatia, Disability Volleyball Club Zagreb, Association of Military Police Veterans from Homeland War, Mine Aid Association, Croatian Sitting Volleyball Association, M.A.R.E. Centre and PP KPV ZNG-91 from Karlovac.
The meeting participants discussed the realization of mine risk education during 2014 and they were informed about the Annual plan of mine risk education and other CROMAC activities in 2015. Other subjects participating in MRE activities also presented their activity plans for the current year.
At the end, the meeting participants discussed the activities relating to marking the April, month in which numerous actions aimed at raising mine awareness are being undertaken each year.
Next co-ordination meeting will be held at the end of November 2015.
