CROMAC participated at 19th Health Fair in Vinkovci


As part of the action ''April-Month of Protection from Mines'', CROMAC Regional Office East participated at the 19th Health Fair in Vinkovci, organized by the Town of Vinkovci, Vukovar-Srijem county and The Croatian Healthy Cities network, under the auspices of the Ministry of Health. International partners of this year's fair were Bronte Natural Health, Oakville Ontario, Canada; Consulate General of Hungary in Osijek and Hungarian national minority of Vinkovci town.

CROMAC participated at the fair with its exhibition area with posters showing mines, maps of current demining works and mine suspected area maps of Vinkovci and Vukovar-Srijem County. Moreover, visitors could see mines used during training. They also expressed great interest in the problem of mine contamination, and many of them, especially children, have received educative materials – leaflets, notebooks, DVDs with associated cartoons and audio messages about mine danger. Furthermore, educational movie projections about mine danger were held during the fair.
