"Safe hunting" in Kutina

CROMAC has participated within the framework of the "Safe hunting" project of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Croatia which was organized, in the hunting lodge of Hunting Association "Pheasant" in Kutina, by Sisak-Moslavina PD and Hunting Association of Sisak County to introduce the members of the hunting society with the dangers of landmines.
The participants were introduced with the demining activities in the Republic of Croatia, the MSA in the area of Sisak County, mine incidents during the activities of hunting, risky and proper behavior and use of CROMAC's MIS portal. Special emphasis of this education was to raise awareness of the mine hazards and accidents that they could cause.
Police officers introduced the objectives of this project, the legal provisions, the necessary approvals that hunters must have, safe keeping and carrying weapons and legal obligations related to the acquisition, possession and possession of weapons to the gathered hunters. The future education programs have been agreed which would clarify any questions or specific situations, so that hunters could safely hunt and avoid unwanted events.
