Mine Risk Education at the celebration of the Day of the City of Petrinja


On August 10, on the Josip Juraj Strossmayer square, for the occasion of celebration of the City of Petrinja and the feast of St. Lovro, the city patron, the employees of the Croatian Ministry of Interior, Sisak-Moslavina PD and CROMAC have informed and educated citizens about the dangers of residual weapons, mines and explosives remnants of war as part of the annual plan of CROMAC and Ministry of Interior campaign "Less weapons-less tragedies".
Educational materials about mine threat and residual weapons were given to the present visitors and a large number of exhibitors, and they were further advised to adhere to precautionary measures, the return of weapons and respect mine warning signs.
