91,2 milion Kuna have been allocated for the demining of agricultural land in Sisak-Moslavina County


The Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development released today a second decision on the allocation of funds for sub-measure 5.2 „Support for the reconstruction of agricultural land and production potential compromised by natural disasters, adverse climatic conditions and catastrophic events, for the operation 5.2.2. „Demining of agricultural land“.
The grant in the amount of 91,168,944.16 HRK (VAT included) was approved for the Sisak-Moslavina County for the demining of agricultural land in this county. Demining operations will be carried out according to the four projects in overall size of 13.4 square kilometers, and there will be employed nearly all capacities of legal persons authorized for demining activities.
It should be recalled that there were 6 counties that applied for the PAAFRD tender and requested a total of 221.3 million Kuna of support. All submitted projects will be granted. The public support funds are provided from the budget of the European Union and the budget of the Republic of Croatia, of which the European Union through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development participates with 85% share, and the Republic of Croatia with a 15% share.
