Mine risk education for elementary school students in Sinj

On Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the elementary school "Ivan Lovrić" in Sinj an educational lecture on mine risk was held for 56 students of the first grade.

Mr. Mirko Matković held an introduction to the education through the presentation titled "Spot the Odd One", after which an animated film "Plop" was shown to the students. Also, Head of Regional office South, Ph.D. Josip Čerina, held an interactive presentation "Find Intruder" through which he introduced the danger of mines that still exist to the children.

The final part of the education was conducted by the police officer Bože Kalinić and PEZ deminer of Split-Dalmatia Police Department Ivan Žižić that presented and described the effect of certain mines and explosives.
