INTERREG V-A - Cross-border program Hungary - Croatia 2014th to 2020th amounts up to 10.5 million kuna


The project called "De-contamination of war-affected areas" is listed as a strategic project in the INTERREG V-A CBC Hungary - Croatia 2014th to 2020th. The leading partner is Croatian Mine Action Centre with two project partners on the Hungarian side - Border Police department of the Baranya province and Danube-Drava National Park from Hungary. Within the total budget, that amounts to € 3,529,399.70, for the activities conducted by the Croatian Mine Action Centre € 1,789,181.74. were allocated. The planned project beggining was designated on June 1, 2016, and project implementation will completely remove the mine threat in the Draž municipality and mine fields along the Drava river from the border near Donji Miholjac to Belišće. Also, in cooperation with State geodetic agency, project implementation also plans to restore the stone markings alongside border between the Croatia and Hungary.

Tender for deferral of the demining for the area of 1,456,319 square meters was announced on 9 May 2016 in the Electronic Public Procurement Official Gazette. Estimated value of the acquisition was 10.5 million kuna with bid opening procedure that will be held on 16 June 2016 at the CROMAC headquarters.
