Mine risk education and informing held in Jasenovac and Lipovljani municipalities

13.05.2016

In cooperation with the Ministry of Interior employees, as a part of the "Less Arms -less tragedies" campaign, CROMAC representatives, in Jasenovac and Lipovljani municipalities, have been engaged in informing and educating the population, especially children, about mine risk and residual weapons.
As in previous years, children were warned of the dangers of mines, UXO and residual weapons and are alerted to the correct behavior in mine suspected areas, or in the case of encountering explosive devices or unexploded ordnance. Moreover, special educational materials were also distributed to the children.
